Rachel O’Connor

Strategic Enablement was founded on a passion for solving problems using change management, PR, and communications strategies. In 2022 I was inspired to offer the full scale of my expertise to a wider variety of clients on a fractional basis. My network of trusted cohorts – skilled technologists, marketers, creatives, and collaboration experts – are tapped when a project requires more hands and minds.

Where it all began

My career began nearly 20 years ago, but in reality, my way with words and passion to do what’s right began in childhood with a campaign against rainforest deforestation conducted from my bedroom. Many years and passion projects later, I discovered an aptitude for distilling complex narratives while interning with a district attorney; I then spent 6 years responding to records and media requests on behalf of the Metro Nashville Police Department (ask me about the early days when I was mistaken for a spokesperson and tasked with official duties during an emergency response). My next 8 years were spent at Deloitte where I intentionally honed my skills while working directly with C-level executives and project teams on every type of technology project, transformation, and crisis.

I’m known for high standards, a straightforward approach, and adding strategic direction that extends beyond my scope of work to help ensure success. When crisis hits, I’m thorough and swift without sacrificing quality.
